  • Atal tunnel (World's longest highway) inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. Rohtang in Himachal Pradesh

IMPORTANT POINTS :
 1World's longest highway tunnel to reduce the distance between Manali and Leh by 46 km
2. Atal Tunnel, Rohtang in Himachal Pradesh is the world’s longest 9.02- kilometre double lane tunnel located at an altitude of 10,040 feet.
  • West Bengal government has launched the “Pathashree Abhijan” scheme.
IMPORTANT POINTS :
 1Pathashree Abhijan, a road repair scheme, where more than 7,000 stretches of roads comprising 12,000 kilometers across the state will be repaired.
  • Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal has launched a portal “Kritagyata”, an online pension submission and tracking system.

  • Indian Navy (IN) – Bangladesh Navy (BN) Bilateral Exercise (2nd edition) - Bongosagar

 1. Bilateral Exercise Bongosagar commences in Northern Bay of Bengal.
2. Bongosagar will be followed by the third edition of India Bangladesh Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) on 4-5 October.
3. The first edition of the Exercise Bongosagar, was held in 2019.
    • The Indian Coast Guard Vessel Karnaklata Barua was commissioned at Kolkata.
